Shabna Rajapaksa

Shabna is a general Paediatrician. She graduated with honours from Cambridge University and completed her paediatric training in Nottingham, Oxford and the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.  She holds degrees in Neuroscience and a Masters in Medical Education and is a Fellow to the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK).

Shabna enjoys all aspects of paediatrics, especially respiratory and allergy. She is passionate about teaching the next generation of students and health professionals and is deputy director of medical education at the Rural Clinical School, Ballarat, University of Melbourne. Shabna has a specialist interest in paediatric allergy and respiratory medicine having experience in this from her time as a consultant in the UK and Australia.

Shabna enjoys the outdoors, music and time with her family.
