David completed his paediatric training through the Royal Children’s Hospital, before working in Albury-Wodonga. He then worked in Malawi, Africa running a large unit dealing with many tropical diseases, malnutrition, TB and HIV.
David has worked in the Ballarat Region since 2008, developing interests in neonatal medicine, adolescent eating disorders and immigrant/refugee health. David runs separate immigrant health clinics in Ballarat, Footscray and Melton, and is a senior lecturer at Deakin and Melbourne Universities. In his spare time he likes pretending he is fit, enjoys spending time with his wife and wrangling his three lovely children.
